These are the deluxe chicken nachos I made for our Super Bowl dinner. Because I had to keep stopping to watch the commercials, it took TWO HOURS to makes these. I think next year I will make a frozen pizza.
Josie, ~~Okay Miss Wordsworth, should I have said, "serve a frozen pizza?" Then it sounds like I didn't heat it up! We'll have to arm wrestle over this one. :)
Jammie J, ~~I had 5 and My Sweetie had 9 and we threw the last one away. It was just the two of us. I had a square and was into the game (I had 6 and 9) but I never came close to smelling the money. The nachos were very good! The jalapenos are hiding underneath the sour cream. The green on top are green pepper strips that were cooked with the chicken. I'm sorry you have to scrape the cheese off of a pizza. That's the best part!
Wow... you remind me of a friend who does the gourmet thing... but it's really "just something he put together at the last minute" LOL They look yummy. Too bad I can't eat anything with peppers anymore, they don't like me :(
And Josie? I also don't watch Super Bowl, or any football for that matter. So I'm joining you :)
I was born and raised in North Carolina, but have lived all my adult life in Texas. I like to find humor in everything. I love to laugh and make people laugh. I love beer, cats, fun people. And sometimes I am denser than osmium (and that can be funny, too).

Make a frozen pizza? Why not just buy a frozen pizza and heat it up in the oven. It saves having to make it... freeze it... unfreeze it...
I am probably the only person on the North American continent that did not watch the Super Bowl.

On the upside, those look delicious. Man, I could eat about 12 of them. That would leave you and your sweetie 3 of them.
Did you have people over?
Tony served up frozen pizza (I scraped the cheese off of mine.) I had a salad and Marigold brought some yummy homemade granola bars. Mmmm.
Now, back to your nachos. They still look delicious. :)

Just make regular nachos. They won't notice the difference.
Frozen pizza would be easier, but those look awfully good.
Jazz,
~~Regular nachos. What are these things of which you speak?
Ian,
~~Oh, they were great! I love when you get a bite with the green pepper and the jalapeno together- the sweetness and the heat. Yum!
Fancy Schmancy Nachos! It beats frozen pizza anyday!
They sure look YUMMY!!! I love that you got such a GREAT Picture of them before the Gang tore into them....lol!
