Oh I LOVED the slideshow!!! What a beautiful place to go and stay! Where IS that??? I want to go next! Seriously!
My favourites "good" shot is the one of the dog running from the waves and my favourite "fun" shot is you and the pirate skeleton. Lots of other really good shots, too. Looks like you had so much fun. I'm green with envy! lol
That was fun and enjoyable! Thank you so much for sharing. That looked like a Double Delight rose bush that your mom is growing. One of my favorites! :)
Leslie, It was funny. I tried to put informative comments on all the pictures, but I think the comments don't show if you do the slideshow. The dog was a crazy accident. I was focused on a sandpiper and just as I snapped the dog ran up and chased away the bird.
Jeanette, She also had something in a hanging basket that attracts hummingbirds, so I can add that to the list of animals I saw on the trip.
Scarlet, It WAS a good time. I actually went in the ocean twice. I hadn't done that in YEARS!
Josie, I have a good time wherever I go, but the Atlantic ocean, well that's just icing on the cake.
Ticknart, That explains something. My daughter thought it needed hands and I added them, but didn't take another picture. And the hands make it Kilroy.
Leslie, Okay, I'll take your word for it. I really wanted the shot of the sandpiper. Yeah, the dog was cute. He's in the background of the picture of my mom on the beach diligently watching his owner swim.
Josie, Uhmmmm. I think it's an awful picture of me. I only published it because it was fun and goofy.
I was born and raised in North Carolina, but have lived all my adult life in Texas. I like to find humor in everything. I love to laugh and make people laugh. I love beer, cats, fun people. And sometimes I am denser than osmium (and that can be funny, too).

Swimming, horses and crackpuppies...who could ask for more?
Geewits, those are GREAT pictures. You look as if you're having a really good time! That photo of you with the skeleton is FABULOUS!
I would love to go there sometime. It really looks so different from the Pacific coast.
Cheers,
Josie

That picture makes me think, "Killroy was there!"

Well, you know sometimes you just HAPPEN to catch a good shot and don't even realize it until you see it on the "big screen."
I like the one of you with the skeleton. You should make that your avatar, at Halloween.

I love the kelp head... and you and your mom really resemble each other.
