Reconsidered Christmas Decor

I originally took pictures of my Christamas decorations and then I remembered how much I disliked looking at pictures of other people's Christmas decorations so I decided to take extreme close-ups of my stuff:

I thought this was better. I still haven't decorated outside because I am mad at the weather. I have proclaimed that I will not decorate outside until the sun stays out all day. What's with that anyway? I mean seriously, consistently sunny days are a big selling point to living here. What's with this constant grey crap? I am so tired of it. I NEED SOME SUN PIECES!!

Jazz,
~~The sun finally showed up on Sunday. Yay! I'd like to see your ornaments, yes please.

It's funny when people in warm climates decorate for Christmas with wintery themes -- snow pines and a big bundled up Santa. It's like the whole Christmas thing was invented just for places where it's cold and snowy in December. How did that happen, I wonder, when it's not cold and snowy in December in more than half the world

Xup,
~~My guess is that most of our current images came from the ad men on Madison Avenue and they all lived in New York and Connecticutt. I've had one white Christmas in my entire life and it was the year we were visiting Illinois.

I like the gold, shiny curlique one.

Maybe grey skies are like a lump of coal in your stocking?

I love seeing the close-ups! Lots more detail and you can really see how dear all your decor is....!

Naomi,
~~Thanks, but no one can do close-ups like you. You're the master.
