My In-Laws decided we should all go around the table and say what we were thankful for and I was feeling nervous about it and when I'm nervous I get goofy (just like Chandler from "Friends"!) and everyone was saying "...family and friends..." and stuff and when it was my turn I said, "I'm thankful to live in a country where the transfer of power is done peaceably." It's an actual true sentiment, but all night since I've been home when I think about that, I crack up laughing. Hey, I'm goofy. It's what I do.Thursday, November 26, 2009

Goofy compared to the others, but it's a damned good thing we've got going here, despite all the grousing.
Well, it really is something to be thankful for. Maybe you are not goofy. Maybe you have good insight.
What was the reaction from the others? Did they appreciate the thought or did they all look stunned?
