Dog Memory

I was behind this dog at a stoplight the other day. I took several pictures and was wondering what he was looking at so intently. Then I realized he was looking at that field that usually has cows. I didn't see any cows that day but couldn't help but wonder if the dog also remembered there were usually cows there and maybe he was wondering where they were. Would a dog remember something like that? He looks pretty smart.

They're creatures of habits so my guess is that he did remember passing by and saluting the cows, hence his distraught look when looking at an empty field. Great picture and lovely dog.

I think he's staring at me. I might have been over in that field the other day.

It is certainly interesting for me to read the article. Thanx for it. I like such themes and anything connected to this matter. I would like to read a bit more on that blog soon.
