A penny for your thoughts? Going by the fact that a shave and a haircut used to be two bits (25¢), and assuming that's about when your thoughts were worth a penny, your thoughts are now worth $1.20.

You know, I've never had a barbershop shave and always wanted to. My grandfather always shaved with a straighrazor.
VioletSky, ~~You are very brave to get a pedicure. You couldn't pay me to do that. I don't let anyone except doctors nurses or x-ray techs touch my feet.
Never got one in Canada but did it a few times in Nepal and Ecuador for a very low price ($2-$5). It feels amazing and I'm relieved of shaving duty for at least 10 days.
I was born and raised in North Carolina, but have lived all my adult life in Texas. I like to find humor in everything. I love to laugh and make people laugh. I love beer, cats, fun people. And sometimes I am denser than osmium (and that can be funny, too).

Ian,
~~According to the barber I called in New Jersey to get the price, a shave is $15. Of course in Canada that means it would cost $35, I guess.
You should come back up here, our $1 is now about .94USD. Oh wait, I should get myself back down your way...
I get nervous getting pedicure with those sharp razors and clippers etc. I cannot imagine sitting still for a shave, on my neck.
