On Saturday, I got one done:
I didn't take any pics as I worked because I didn't really know what I was doing. That chair was the guinea pig of this project. I learned a lot. I think I have it all figured out now and will show some work in progress pics in subsequent posts. Sculpting foam with an electric knife is something that I hope I will improve at as I go along. So there will be more to come.

that fabric looks SO much better than the plain one.
Looks good! There are some good chair recovering tutorials on Youtube. The thing, apparently is getting the corners right.
Hi Gee! Oooh...very nice fabric!
V-Sky,
~~Thanks. I think so too.
Jazz,
~~Yeah, corners are tricky. Maybe there is a tutorial for foam sculpting.
Carole,
~~Hello stranger. I hope you are having a great time.
I usually avoid commenting on your DIY posts, seeing as I am completely NOT the handyman type. But I just had to say that chair looks great! I am in awe of your DIY skills. Actually, I have a few chairs over here that could do with your attention.
LGS,
~~Well thank you very much and I guarantee that if I am ever in Malaysia I will recover your chairs.
