How freaking cute are these bobcat kitties? My friend and neighbor Carole went down to the other neighbor's house and captured these little darlings enjoying some fresh rain water. They think they are at least 10 weeks old, so when I saw Timber the bobcat, she must have been out foraging for food for nursing her tiny kits.

For those who asked, our local animal control does not interfere with these animals. They are considered just part of the local fauna. They really are cute!

Gee, we will have to keep an eye out for these little guys soon. Do you think this will become a permanent bobcat hangout with their smell and markings here? Rodents & small animals beware! There are some new kitties in town! MEOW! haha
How cool that they don't interfere. Around here they'd catch 'em pack 'em up and haul them out into the woods - probably into some other cat's territory. They are freaking adorable.
There goes the neighbourhood for squirrels! Haha. But thanks for sharing these great photos. They are beautiful and cute.
they are really cute! but I think there will be concern when they get older and pets start missing...? what do bobcats mostly eat anyway? anyway, yes, very cute. :)
Oh My....they sure are cute!! One hopes that they stay out of the way of people and other small animals as they grow bigger and are in need of food!
Carole,
~~Your pictures are fantastic. It will be interesting to see how this animal saga plays out.
Jazz,
~~No hauling here.
LGS,
~~You know, I haven't seen many squirrels lately. Or rabbits. Or possums.
Em,
~~They are not much larger than a large cat. I believe they eat lizards and small rodents and they even will eat insects.
Naomi,
~~I think our pets are safe. However, one neighbor does have chickens.
What wonderful photos. And they do look cute and not at all like they'd claw your eyes out given half the chance.
Gee, I forgot about the chickens!
Ian,
~~Bobcats are pretty small. The mom probably weighs about the same or less than Barney (my cat).
Carole,
~~He was over here yesterday and said he has lost three chickens, but he thinks hawks have taken them.
what aamazing photo yaar...
It's shows friends with each other...
