Christmas Eve 2010

The decorations are nestled all snug in their place.
The delivery boxes are taking up space.
Our food that was ordered: the order misplaced!
The restaurant responded, they had to save face.
~
The last minute shopping, we'll both do today.
With bar stops for beers along our way.
I wish you a wonderful holiday.
And now, I guess, I've had my say.

(Merry Christmas everyone! These are some of my Santas.)

  3. Merry Christmas Gee! Hope you all have a wonderful time! Your poem made me laugh.

...when out on the lawn arose such a clatter, my son-in-law said "What the heck is the matter"? He rushed to the emergency room in a dash; the doctor said metal in your eye - after DRILLING it out, said "you need a sash". Come back Christmas morning at 8:00 A.m. sharp, and we'll see if that eye has any more harm.

Yep...as Rosanna Rosanna Danna always says..."It's always something"!

  5. Now, if it was me, it'd be wine stops, but there you go.

Mr. Jazz and I wish you a wonderful holiday from out here in the middle of the desert.
