What a darling adorable picture of your sweet dear Cat....I know this is so very hard and my heart goes out to you in this difficult time. So precious, and so special...!
Thanks everyone. Poor old Jake. He got so old and decrepit. It's been the hardest for my husband. They'd been together for all those years. It sure seems quiet here without him.
Josie, ~~He was one of the smartest cats I've ever known and I swear he understood English. I don't think he accepted that he was a cat and thought he was a person. After Christmas I will make his pillow, like I did for Sammy.
Oh, I'm sorry to read about your cat. :( We had to put our wonderful 16-year-old Siamese down a couple years ago and I know how hard it is. May the pain fade for you both and be replaced by good memories and smiles.

ReplyDeleteNaomi,
ReplyDelete~~Thanks. My husband lived with Jake longer than he's lived with anyone - including his own parents. Jake was a sweet, smart, and loving cat.
I'm so sorry about Jake. The picture is adorable!
ReplyDeleteOh no! Geewits and her Sweetie, I'm so sorry.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great picture of Jake.
Oh Geewits...I'm so sorry.
ReplyDeleteIt's so hard to lose a beloved pet.
Ohhhhh...
ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry. :(
*sniffle*
I like that. So, I guess sometime you'll have to let the cat out of the bag.
ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry. I missed the date thing. Sorry to be crass. My condolences.
ReplyDeleteYou have my deep sympathy.
ReplyDeleteBut that is a gorgeous photo tho!!
