I can't imagine having a toddler at this age and supporting him/her for the next 16 years or so! Like you I get tired just thinking about it. It's bad enough I'm going through the dating age right now (and it's not always fun!).Ileanahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11200869126695231050noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16041225.post-53082416043675354602010-07-28T17:23:26.848-05:002010-07-28T17:23:26.848-05:00Jocelyn,

Personally, I'm really glad I spent my 20's traveling and doing grad school and living a bunch of places, so that now, in the Raising Kid Years, I have all that stuff as a foundation.Jocelynhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03227519811818290510noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16041225.post-76584264490902461932010-07-28T15:40:49.580-05:002010-07-28T15:40:49.580-05:00Tatty,

That was TOO young. I personally can't imagine having to relate to a 15-year-old when I'm 55.geewitshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11590044820333720010noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16041225.post-56463367344307645012010-07-28T14:01:49.837-05:002010-07-28T14:01:49.837-05:00We've all got our own sense of normal, don'...We've all got our own sense of normal, don't we? My mother was 40 when she had me, and I've never been able to wrap my head around what it must be like to have a mother only a couple or so decades apart in age from yourself.tattytiarahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18408220720084181008noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16041225.post-40310353593615029212010-07-28T11:37:26.267-05:002010-07-28T11:37:26.267-05:00VioletSky,

I had enough time to get most of the nonsense out of my system before settling down to parenting and I think I would have been an awful parent when I was younger. And now she's pretty much grown up and I still have a little life left in me to enjoy.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16041225.post-17042703607866046292010-07-28T07:29:31.805-05:002010-07-28T07:29:31.805-05:00Oh, and I love that picture of you and your daught...Oh, and I love that picture of you and your daughter.Jazzhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14644896022880634803noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16041225.post-91459845909024612982010-07-28T07:29:15.907-05:002010-07-28T07:29:15.907-05:00I have a friend who had her kid at 38. It was years later that I realized she may not have been too thrilled to be seen buying them when she was going through menopause.VioletSkyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10222821877918680480noreply@blogger.com
